Project Manager
We’re looking for a Project Manager who can take a civil project, break it down, and keep it moving without drama.
You’ll be overseeing planning, delivery, subcontractors, and reporting while working closely with the QS and CivCost teams.
What you’ll do
• Lead planning and execution of civil construction projects
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Handle scheduling, procurement, and site coordination
• Oversee budgets, claims, variations, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with NZ standards and site safety requirements
• Communicate with clients, councils, and consultants
• Prepare progress reports and keep documentation tight
• Support integration of CivCost tools for project reporting
Qualifications
• 3–6 years of project management experience in civil construction
• Strong knowledge of NZS 3910 and NZ site practices
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Strong budgeting, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with MS Project or similar tools
• Excellent communication and leadership ability
• Diploma/degree in construction, engineering, or project management
• Full-time work eligibility in NZ
